Foxx Says She Was Not at Scene of Condo Blaze

After being tagged as a "person of interest" in a suspicious condo fire, former Atlanta radio personality Porsche Foxx decried her innocence during a Tuesday afternoon press conference.

The fire began in the Mallory Park Townhomes in the 100 block of Bagby Court in Union City about 2:30 a.m. One unit was destroyed and a pair of others suffered major damage. One resident, Mary Matthews, suffered second-degree burns in the fire.

Fulton County Fire Department's Chief Fire Marshal had named Foxx, whose real name is Stephanie Calhoun, and Tony Matthews (Mary Matthews son) as "persons of interest" regarding the fire. According to Keith Padgett, Foxx and Matthews were not suspects, just two individuals that authorities wanted to speak with, although Mary Matthews allegedly said that Foxx had a hand in the fire.

At a Tuesday afternoon news conference Foxx, who was fired last November from V-103 for a second time, denied she was at the condo at the time of the fire.
