Fire officials are investigating a pair of fires that happened at the same Gwinnett County home last week.
According to investigators, the first fire was discovered around 6:30 p.m. last Friday evening as firefighters arrived at the home on Oak Road. Firefighters contained the fire, with no one reported home at the time.
Hours later, a 911 call indicated there was another fire at the home around 10 p.m. This time, the home was fully engulfed when firefighters arrived on the scene.
The second fire destroyed the property, according to fire investigators, who believe that arson was the cause in both fires.
Anyone with information on the fires is asked to call the Georgia Arson hotline at 800-282-5804. Officials are offering a $10,000 reward in the case.
