Authorities in Florida and neighboring states are searching for a five-year-old girl who went missing from her Satsuma home early this morning. The search involved issuing an Ambert Alert for the child, who was last seen when she went to bed.
According to authorities, Haleigh Ann-Marie Cummings was last seen Monday evening when her father's girlfriend put her to bed at their home on Green Lane, off Buffalo Bluff Road. Officials said Haleigh has blonde hair and brown eyes, is 3 feet tall and weighs 39 pounds. She was last seen in the Hermit's Cove area of Satsuma dressed in a pink shirt and underwear.
The girl's mother, who resides in Georgia, was en route to Florida to join in the search.
