EDITOR'S NOTE: The Norcross woman that was allegedly set on fire by her daughter Tuesday afternoon died at Grady Memorial Hospital early Wednesday morning.
Authorities in Norcross arrested and charged Na Young Pak, 31, with aggravated assault after allegedly setting fire to her mother outside their home Tuesday afternoon.
According to police, a 911 call came in shortly before 3 p.m. from a residence on Langston Drive in the Sterling Brook subdivision. An arriving officer discovered a 51-year-old woman with critical burns.
According to neighbors, who helped put out the flames on the victim, the two women have had a history of problems between them.
Officials said the victim, whose name was not released, was taken to the Grady Memorial Hospital and was listed in critical condition.
