Police in Brooks County say a Georgia teen allegedly doused three neighborhood kittens with gasoline and set them on fire in a December incident. Two of the cats died and one was severely injured.According to authorities, Cory Ward, 17, of Quitman, is accused of a trio of counts of aggravated animal cruelty. Ward allegedly set the cats on fire in the mobile home park that he resides in.
If convicted on all charges, Ward could get five years in prison and be fined $15,000.
