Police in Puerto Rico have a man in custody who allegedly murdered a Savannah woman visiting the territory with her fiance.According to authorities, Sara Kuszak was kidnapped during a morning jog, placed in the suspect's trunk, then later murdered. Kuszak was apparently able to call authorities from the trunk of the car with her cell phone, but was discovered about an hour later in some brush with her throat slashed.
The suspect, Eliezer Marquez Navedo, 36, was allegedly discovered with bloody clothes when apprehended. Navedo was not immediately charged with a crime, but taken into custody for questioning.
Kuszak, who was five months pregnant, had moved to Georgia from San Francisco around 2004. She had only arrived in Puerto Rico for her trip on Tuesday evening.
