Former Atlanta RB Anderson Arrested on Drug Charges

Jamal Anderson, the former Atlanta Falcons running back who was a member of the team's 1998 Super Bowl squad, was arrested early this morning for allegedly having suspected powder cocaine in his possession.

According to police, Anderson, 36, was arrested at the Peachtree Tavern in Atlanta’s Buckhead community. Police say that an off-duty officer working security at the nightclub alerted police that Anderson was allegedly snorting cocaine in a bathroom stall.

Anderson, who also reportedly had a marijuana cigarette in his pocket, was arrested along with Mark Hudson.

Anderson is due in court at 11 a.m. Monday
