Police in Carroll County say a mother is facing several charges after deputies claim she hid drugs in her child’s doll.
Authorities reported that they discovered methamphetamine in Penny Reeves’ car during a traffic stop. Deputies said Reeves, 39, consented to a search of her home.
Once in the home, authorites say they discovered 32 grams of meth, including some stuffed in her 3-year-old daughter’s Sesame Street Ernie doll. Police said they also discovered two glass pipes and a measuring device with drug residue inside the doll.
Carroll reportedly had 29 grams of meth stored in the back of the stuffed animal that was found mixed in with the child’s other toys.
