Police were continuing their search Wednesday for a criminal dubbed "Little Houdini" as a result of his past escape adventures.
According to authorities, Chris Gay, 30, who was being transported from Orlando to Coffee County, Tenn. on allegations of stealing a Wal-Mart truck, escaped from a deputy who stopped at a Waffle House.
When local authorities learned of the escape, the campus of Kennesaw State University was shut down as police searched for Gay.
Police in Cobb County say that Gay apparently broke out of his restraints and was on the loose, but there was no sign of him on campus. Authorities said classes would resume as normal on Wednesday.
Gay has escaped from authorities at least twice before in 2005 and 2007.
