2 Killed When Car Goes into Cobb County Lake

An adult male and female child were killed Sunday evening when the car they were riding in went into a lake around the area of Terrell Mill Road in Cobb County.

As of Monday morning, the names of the victims had not been released. According to authorities, the two were pulled from the vehicle and were later pronounced dead.

Authorities did not say if weather was a factor in the crash, as some local roads were icy following Sunday's snow storm that hit the Atlanta area.
