A tornado watch is in effect for Atlanta and surrounding counties until 10 p.m. According to the National Weather Service, there is a 90 percent chance of rain, which could be accompanied by damaging winds, hail and potential thunderstorms.
Rainfall totals may amount to between a quarter and half of an inch.
Saturday's forecast calls for partly cloudy skies and a high approaching 70 degrees. Easter Sunday should be mostly sunny and a few degrees warmer.
