Michael Macaluso, 37, of Marietta, pleaded not guilty in court Friday to child pornography charges.
According to authorities, Macaluso, a chiropractor, used his MySpace page to become friends with a 15-year-old boy in Connecticut and a 14-year-old boy in New Jersey. The teens allege that Macaluso convinced them into sending him lewd pictures and then threatened to expose the photos unless they sent him additional pictures.
Officials allege that in one case, Macaluso, who could face life in prison if convicted of the charges, pretended to be a 15-year-old boy to befriend a victim. In another case, Macaluso reportedly posed as a 16-year-old girl.
