Job Fair Set for 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. Today at GWCC

Bring your resume, dress nicely and be prepared to stand in line.

The Georgia World Congress Center is the site today of a job fair co-sponsored by the state Department of Labor and WSB-TV. The event will be held from 4 p.m. t0 9 p.m., with some 100 employers slated to be on hand.

Attendants will also be on hand to help job seekers with their resumes, how to go about a job interview, and more. Reps from two-year and four-year private educational institutions and technical colleges are also scheduled to be on hand to offer information about their programs.

Organizers are recommending that attendees use public transit to get to the event, expecting large crowds to gather for the job fair.
