Search Continues for Missing Florida Girl

Florida authorities are continuing their search for a missing 5-year-old girl who vanished from her Putnam County home before dawn on Tuesday.

According to authorities, Haleigh Ann-Marie Cummings, her 2-year-old brother and her father's girlfriend, Mistie Croslin, 17, went to bed all in the same room of the family's mobile home around 10 p.m. Monday.

The father, Ronald Cummings, reportedly returned home from work around 3:30 a.m. and discovered the girl missing. Police reported the back door of the mobile home was open, but there was no trace of the girl.

Police have reportedly questioned both Croslin and Ronald Cummings, but have not identified either as a suspect at this time.

The girl's mother, Crystal Sheffield, who resides in Georgia, is also on the scene searching for her daughter. Police have reportedly questioned Sheffield, but do not consider her a suspect in her daughter's disappearance.

Police added that they have interviewed more than three dozen registered sex offenders in the Putnam County area since the girl went missing.

Haleigh is 3 feet tall with blond hair and brown eyes, and was last seen in a pink shirt and underwear.

Anyone with information about the child is asked to contact the Putnam County Sheriff's Office at (386) 329-0800 or 911.
