Cold Weather Set to Hit Area Once Again

Get ready to whip out that extra blanket towards the end of the week, as temperatures are set to head south once again.

According to the National Weather Service, Friday's low will be in the teens, while highs will struggle to get out of the low 30s. Tomorrow's high temps will barely hit the low 40s.

While there is no precipitation forecast for the next few days, a rain-snow combo could hit the area late on Sunday.

Nationwide, in Hallock, Minn., yesterday, the wind chill made it feel like minus 58 degrees.

In the meantime, folks in Southern California continue to battle above average temperatures for mid-Janaury, with Wednesday's high in San Diego nearing 80 degrees.

Great contrast, showing the cold
temperature flux that is occuring
in the Atlanta area; then, provid-
ing the bitter-cold reference in
MN, while contrasting these with
the balmy conditions of San Diego,
CA. Very well done!!!
