Search on for Leesburg Woman

The Lee County Sheriff’s Office and the Georgia Bureau of Investigation are seeking the public’s help in connection with the disappearance of a 28-year-old Leesburg woman.

Christy Maria Jackson of 129 Flat Ridge Court in Leesburg was last heard from last Wednesday afternoon shortly after 4 p.m. She was at her residence on the phone with a relative when her phone went dead. The relative said that right before the phone went dead, Jackson had told her a man was standing outside her residence. She also said the man, whom she said was white, may be driving a white Cadillac.

Jackson was gone when deputies arrived at the home a short time later. Deputies found signs of a struggle inside the home. Both of her vehicles were still at her residence.

Jackson is Black, 5’ 4” tall and weighs 135 pounds. She had moved to Leesburg from Hampton in Henry County about two years ago.

Agents from the GBI’s Americus Office are assisting in this investigation.
