Authorities spent several hours this morning searching for a missing girl and have found no evidence. Police began their search after receiving a tip from a witness about a possible abduction.A young girl was reportedly kidnapped early this morning around the Westlake MARTA station.
According to authorities, a man was taken into custody near the scene, but there was no sign of the reported victim, whom police say was walking in the area and was between 5 and 7 years old.
The MARTA station is located north of I-20 on Westlake Avenue.
